Hello! My name is Jess and I'm a devoted artist based in Northumberland, north east England. 

I have been completely animal mad for as long as I can remember, and horses definitely top the list. I began riding when I was just 3 years old, learning to ride on my mum's horses. Unluckily for her, I never lost interest!

I have been equally as fascinated by drawing for my entire life. All I ever wanted for Christmas as a child were pens, pencils, art sets and colouring books. This continued throughout school, where I studied art at GCSE level which I loved - the only subject that I actively enjoyed. It was at this time that I began to broaden into a handful of commissions of dogs and horses for friends and family whilst doing my A Levels, and really struggling to find a career path that appealed to me. 
I turned down the option of going to university and made the decision to follow my heart. That was many years ago now, and ever since, things have continued to grow and expand further than I could have ever imagined!

I have worked in many different mediums over the years, from graphite pencil to pastels to watercolours, and I am a complete perfectionist, striving to capture every detail possible. 

I feel so privileged to be able to do something I truly and utterly love as a job, and to be able to see and experience the joy and emotion that my work brings to people.
